Established in 1994, Mosaics Fine Art Festival is an annual art festival dedicated to highlighting the importance of art and culture in our community. As you might imagine, events of this magnitude require the dedicated support of many people working diligently behind the scenes. If you have the opportunity, please take a moment to thank all those involved in the success of this year’s festival for their continued commitment. And, while you’re in town, don’t forget to stop by the Foundry Art Centre, 520 North Main Center, our city’s crowned jewel located on the north leg of the St. Charles historic district. This facility, which boasts 5,000 square feet of Smithsonian caliber exhibition space, combines exhibitions, curated exhibits and juried competitions, with the ability to interact up-close-and-personal with artists, who have working studios on the mezzanine level of the premise.

All-in-all, I think you’ll find St. Charles offers a truly cultural experience. Enjoy this weekend’s Mosaics Festival, and I do hope you won’t hesitate to come back and visit us often.

Best wishes,

Sally Faith

Mayor City of St. Charles
