Art for Youth Fine Art Gallery tent

ALL young people (14 and younger) may purchase ONE PIECE of fine art!

11:00 am-4:00 pm at Main and Jefferson

YOUNG shoppers will be admitted WITHOUT ADULTS to purchase ONE piece of fine art that has been generously donated by the artists exhibiting this weekend.

Located in front of the Historical Society, only youth shoppers will be admitted (while supplies last). We wish

them not to be influenced by others, but pursue their own interest. All of the artwork has been generously donated by the artists exhibiting this weekend during the 2018 Mosaics Fine Art Festival.

Mosaics feels it is important to expose the youth of today to fine art and stimulate their interest for the future. One goal of Mosaics is to ensure that the arts are taught to all students in schools by qualified teachers. This is an educational responsibility that meets both the needs of individual students and our society. Education is incomplete without a core knowledge in the arts.

Children’s Village at the corner of Main and Monroe - 11:00 am - 4:00 pm

Children 14 years and younger attending the festival are invited to visit this special place dedicated to the exploration of art. Each area encourages children to participate both visually and interactively with professional artists in their field. All supplies are provided by Mosaics for them to create and keep their own masterpiece. The lessons have been created by the artists of Art Unleashed .
